To introduce yourself to the core microbiome, we’ve selected some reading resources for discussion prior to the workshop. We will be discussing these topics in the workshop introduction.

Hardware and Software Installations
You need to have a laptop for which you can install a current version of R and RStudio. Here are the install directions for R Studio and R. The instructions for this tutorial were tested on R 4.4.1, Race for Your Life. We highly suggest installing R 4.4 or greater, else packages may not perform properly.
Within R, you will want to install the following packages, with links to install directions.
